We started Friend Movement with the goal of countering bullying via the use of visual story telling; with an emphasis on being a better friend. By being a better friend we can help prevent the bullying. It is a pretty simple concept on the surface, but it is far more complex when you decide to dig deeper. To be a great friend takes selflessness, a willingness to ask questions, and a desire to learn.
Every dollar donated goes towards the developement and production of Friend Film. It will give us the ability to produce quality work we can use as a platform to ensure that our communities are safe to be who we are; safe from painful words and actions. We envision a world where superficial labels can be set aside and our limited time and energy could be spent on initiatives that would better all of human kind. Your support and generosity sends a message to the global community that the Arts are alive and well, but more than that, they are the best way to open minds and warm hearts!
